I was visiting a friend in NYC around 1987 while on vacation from school in Massachusetts and I ran out of clothes, so he gave me one of these t-shirts. I would assume it was bought in one of those punk shops in Greenwich Village years before I got it. Those shops always had stuff like this. I would go back to school wearing the greatest Sex Pistols shirts after these trips.

In reply to 石尾彩子. I've seen TIMES SQUARE in theaters many times, starting when it first came out, but for the last few decades it's been a single fading 35mm print making the rounds. But it's always a terrific experience to see it in a theater with a big appreciative crowd! How was the Shinjuku audience?
